CASA-EP takes the safety and well-being of children and their volunteer advocates seriously. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization has implemented new safety guidelines for volunteers working with children during this challenging time.
CASA-EP volunteers are currently using virtual video chat and mobile technologies to check in with children and families, in addition to making frequent phone calls. Volunteers are using these same tools to collaborate with legal and child welfare professionals on their cases.
