SUPPORT CASA KIDS
The Superhero Challenge is a flexible and fun community race for a great cause! Supporters can participate in their own way and pace while raising funds and awareness for children in the Eastern Panhandle. This month-long event supports CASA-EP’s efforts to recruit, train, and retain community volunteers to speak up for the best interests of the most vulnerable youth in our community.
Instead of a typical run/walk race held on one route at one time, the Superhero Challenge encourages participants from anywhere to complete a course and activity of their own choosing. Registrants can run, walk, hike, bike, do yoga, dance, garden or get active on their own as part of a friendly virtual competition with friends and colleagues. For thirty days, this friendly competition encourages others to go the distance to share the mission and message of court-appointed special advocacy for children.
In its fourth year, the 2023 Superhero Challenge had 15 active teams and over 150 participants complete more than 1000 combined miles as they got active throughout the panhandle and across West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia. Enjoy some of our favorite Challenge photos below and be sure to join in this fun community event in 2024!
