CASA-EP cares about our LGBTQ youth!

LGBTQ youth are overrepresented in foster care. They are more likely to experience discrimination, abuse, neglect and the risk of harm. A 2019 study found that 30 percent of youth in foster care identify as LGBTQ compared to 11 percent of youth not in foster care. CASA-EP is here today because we care a lot about our LGBTQ youth!
