Want to spend your summer making an impact in the Eastern Panhandle? It all starts here.

You have questions, and we have answers. Our virtual open house is the perfect opportunity to learn more about what being a CASA is all about.

We always want to make ourselves available for honest, transparent conversations with our community. This session is not about pushing a vision of what we do through rose-colored glasses. The work can be hard. It requires some mental resilience and training to be a CASA but this work is for anyone who is grounded in making a difference. The busy mom, a career professional, a small business owner, and even retired folks who want to do some good.
The floor is yours to ask unfiltered questions.

CASA programs play a critical role in ensuring children who have experienced abuse or neglect find safe, permanent placements or are reunified with their biological family whenever possible.

The work of our highly-trained advocates – appointed by judges to work one-on-one with our most vulnerable children and youth – are needed now more than ever. Research has shown children with a CASA volunteer spend less time in out-of-home or foster care, are less likely to re-enter the foster care system, and do better in school.
