On Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 CASA-EP was named 2020 Non-Profit of the Year by Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce! We are so honored!

Michelle Sudduth, Executive Director, was proud to receive the award this week on behalf of all CASA volunteers, staff, board members, and supporters.

In addition to the designation, CASA-EP received a $2,000 spot award, which will go towards additional recruitment, training, and support for volunteers that provide advocacy in area courts for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

“It is a true honor to be recognized by the Chamber for the important and great work of this organization, especially the passion and dedication of its volunteer advocates,” said Susan Caperton, CASA-EP Board President. “I also want to thank Michelle, our Director, and the incredible CASA-EP staff team, as well as my current – and former – board members. Leading the board and supporting the organization’s transformation and growth this year has been truly rewarding.”

Humble thanks go to the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce for this acknowledgment and to the MANY people, organizations, and volunteers who have helped grow CASA-EP’s impact on vulnerable children in the Eastern Panhandle this year.

Together, we are changing a child’s story(tm).
